You could first visit your local pet shop. Or large chain ones like Petco, Petsmart and Walmart.
You could also try online:
http://aqtropical.com/purchasefish.aspx ( accepts special order)
http://www.aquabid.com ( works like ebay but for aquatics)
Good luck!

My wife and I visited a lot of pet shops while vacationing in Australia this past fall and never saw any fiddler crabs there although we saw many great fish and neat things. When we were in Cairns, we saw fiddlers among the mudcrabs and mudskippers all along the shore. Different species range along the northern coasts of Australia, so you might check to see if you can collect them, and if you need a fishing license or special permit. Because they tunnel, and like to have both saltwater and freshwater available, setting up a proper habitat is a bit of a challenge.
Here are some neat range maps of different fiddler crabs. Each one represents a species of fiddler crab found in Australia. The shores of the northern half of Australia are literally hopping with these guys but I didn't find any fidlers farther south in the cooler waters like those of Sydney or Melbourne. South of Brisbane on the East, and Exmouth on the west, there don't seem to be any fiddler crabs. I could only include ten of the seventeen species I found listed for Australia
