My 5 year old lhasa apso will shake, have short quick breathes, and won't move around that much for a little bit untill he goes and sleeps it off. After he sleeps for an hour or two he will wake up and act like nothing ever happened. Then we can get him to eat. This happens every day starting from christmas eve when he got left out in the rain for an hour. It is now the 30th of December. I am really worried because I have looked it up a billion times and got different answers for each!

Have you looked up whatever the VET told you was wrong after you brought the dog in to see him? This could be anything from heart failure to a slipped disc. You know your dog is painful. It is evil to let her suffer and not try to get her help.

He make be sick, or he may just be spazzing. My dachshund/beagle has done this every couple of months for years and every time I ask the doctor about it she says it's nothing to worry about. I'm a little surprised that it's every day though, that doesn't sound very healthy. Either take him to the vet or at least call the vet and see what they say.
