So I got a 3 month old puppy with no papers and i know that it is a chihuahua but i also know that its a mutt.. i dont want to jump into conclusions but i think she is also mix with a rot.. i dont see this happening nowere around but she has the markings of a rot.. i mean very similar indeed from the eyebrows to her paws.. It looks just like a rot.. can anyone tell me if there is anyother kind of dog that has those markings all the answers will be greatly appreciated.

I doubt whether a Chihuahua x Rottweiler mix is physically possible! You obviously know the mum is a Chihuahua - ask the person you got her from which breeds of dog she has been consorting with! I doubt it was a Rottie, as aside from the damage the actual mating might cause to the mum - the pups could turn out way too big for her to have, causing MAJOR problems during whelping. Many dogs have black/tan markings, maybe something like a dachshund????

It is possible. And very likely, I actually know a great dane / chihuahua mix

Chihuahuas come in "black and tan" coloring, which I assume is what you are referring to: http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q=black+and+tan+chihuahua Many other much more feasible breeds can also have the black and tan coloration, including Daschunds, Manchester Terriers, and several types of Spaniels (English Toy, both Cockers, etc). If mom is a Chi, either breeding or whelping with a dog that large would almost certainly have killed her. You'll never know for sure what breeds are in a mutt (even the DNA tests are unreliable) but, like any dog, your pup can turn out awesome with a little socialization and training. Good luck with your pup!
