I have a 4 year old papillion who is fully housebroken and crate trained. He has started waking at 6am (whining and barking), peeing in his crate, and is even reluctant to go in when my family and I tell him to. He has never had a problem with his crate before. He is always let out before we put him in for the night and the next morning is let out around 8am. It doesn't seem to be a UTI as he is not visibly uncomfortable. He is his regular self during the day.
Any advice? Thanks.
