PETA is a PSYCHOTIC group that engages in extreme levels of protest. They claim to want to help animals yet actually euthanize more animals than many pounds! The founder of PETA once used to kill stray animals when she was working in a warehouse (she said this herself) - sometimes HUNDREDS per day. Gotta wonder HOW she did that, don't you?

You are looking for an organization that defends animal WELFARE. PETA is interested in publicity and attention, not animals. What you want is called anti-vivisection and there are many reputable organizations and individuals who are making a difference. But they don't belong to PETA
